Current reading

When it had already grown late, Mother suggested that we retire; we wished each other goodnight in front of the weapons cabinet and went to bed.
I'll give you a clue: it's not Jane Austen.

  5. No, it can't be Bernhard because the mother is dead in the first paragraph! It was published 130 years before Extinction and is also out of print in translation.
